EMSCodeSim does not require an account for its public guides, quizzes, or most training tools. Some features save progress or preferences in your browser. Optional Google Analytics loads only after you select “Allow analytics.” EMSCodeSim does not sell personal information.
Optional website analytics
When you allow analytics, EMSCodeSim uses Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits, general device and browser information, approximate geographic information, referral sources, and interactions such as visiting a guide or training page. Google may use cookies or similar technologies to provide this service.
Analytics is used to improve navigation, find broken or underused pages, and decide which free resources deserve more development. Analytics is not intended to collect names, medical information, student records, or patient information.
Information saved on your device
Features such as EMT Prep progress, quiz streaks, school-comparison notes, cost calculations, and simulator preferences may use local storage in your browser. This data generally remains on the device and browser where it was created. Clearing browser storage may remove it.
Do not enter patient-identifying information, protected health information, confidential student records, or employer-sensitive information into public website tools.
External links and services
The website links to official agencies, schools, maps, job-search tools, financial-aid resources, app stores, and other third-party websites. Those services have their own privacy practices. Opening an external site may share standard connection information with that service.
Children and students
EMSCodeSim includes career-exploration content that may be useful to high-school students. The website does not knowingly request personal information from children under 13. Parents, guardians, counselors, and instructors should supervise use when appropriate.
Data sharing and security
EMSCodeSim does not sell or rent personal information. Limited information may be processed by service providers used to operate, secure, measure, or host the website, or disclosed when legally required. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
